Overlooking Port Stephens marina and boardwalk, Merretts restaurant is renowned for its innovative menu rich in the freshest seafood Port Stephens has to offer. An extensive choice of non-seafood options, an all-day dining cafe menu and comprehensive vegetarian menu are also available.
Executive Chef, French-born Ludovic Poyer gained valuable expertise whilst training in his home country and working throughout Sydney and then gracing the shores of Port Stephens. As a result, distinctive French, Mediterranean and Asian influences are evident in each of his dishes.
In addition to breakfast, lunch and dinner, Peppers Anchorage also serves a delicious high tea of sandwiches, pastries, scones with jam and cream and devonshire tea or coffee.

Executive Chef Ludo Poyer, a French native trained in Paris where he honed his craft for 3 years at Michelin star restaurant La Grande Cascade, is passionate about dining. Ludo is passionate about dining. He believe a night out is about creating a total experience. He loves his guests to "slow down" and enjoy the evening. It is all about "pleasure at the table" and consistently delivering the warmth and hospitality. Ludo loves to give guests new sensations and surprise them. This passion is evident in his menu with subtle contrasts in flavours, texture and even temperatures in the one dish. |
