Peppers Convent estate makes a fairy tale setting for romantic wedding ceremonies, receptions, and honeymoons.
Marry under the weeping willow next to the lake. Have an elegant reception in restaurant Eighty Eight for up to 60 guests, Circa 1876 for up to 140 guests, or an intimate celebration for up to 40 guests in the Chapel. The purpose-built Grand Marquee is a large space for events of up to 160 guests.
The historic Convent is the ultimate leave-your-cares-behind-you destination where everyone can relax and enjoy themselves. Originally built in 1909 and transported to Pokolbin in 1990, The Convent was once home to the Brigidine Order of nuns in Coonamble, central NSW.
Creative wedding menus are artfully designed and passionately served by the retreat’s world-renowned Executive Chef George Francisco.
Lovingly and extensively restored in 2014, Peppers Convent offers 17 beautifully decorated guest rooms, complete with French doors opening onto wide verandahs and sweeping views over the Estate. It is the combination of location, architecture and ambience that makes The Convent the most magical place in the Hunter.
There is no doubt that your wedding and the celebration that follows is important to you.
