Sometimes the hardest part of a romantic escape is finding those perfect couples experiences, so this is where Peppers comes in. Through our romance series we will bring you a snapshot of memorable moments, starting with ideal country, coastal and city escapes.

Country – Romance in the Southern Highlands, with Peppers Manor House

  • Explore the perfectly manicured, thriving flower gardens at Red Cow farm in Sutton Forest. With over 20 ‘garden rooms’ this is the perfect way to spend a leisurely afternoon.
  • Wine and dine your way around the Southern Highlands Food & Wine Festival, held in October. For the gastronomically inclined, this is the perfect weekend date.
  • Visit the stunning Fitzroy Falls. Beautiful as the sun sets, enjoy either the leisurely walk to the lookout, or for the more adventurous couples you can also hike the surrounding Morton National Park.

Coastal – Creating memories on Magnetic Island, with Peppers Blue on Blue

  • Embark on a sunset sail of Cleveland Bay aboard the Pilgrim. With a glass of bubbly in hand and the sun setting behind you, could you imagine anything more romantic?
  • Have a picnic basket prepared by the team at Boardwalk Restaurant and Bar and head out to West Point. You couldn’t find a more ideal spot to relax on the beach and indulge in treats.
  • Embark on Fort Walk, one of the islands most popular walking trails and for good reason. At the top it offers a stunning 360 degree view over the island and azure ocean beyond.
  • For the adventurous couple, nothing beats taking to the water. Try your hand at water-skiing or dive the Yongala Wreck.

City – Wine and dine in Adelaide, with Peppers Waymouth Hotel

  • Nothing says romance quite like a day spent winery hopping and dining on the most delectable of cheeses and fresh produce. A tour to the Barossa is an absolute must for a truly romantic day.
  • Head out to Morialta Conservation Park and embark on the easy stroll through the beautiful natural surroundings to the waterfall lookout. Head there during winter and spring months to see the waterfalls at their most majestic.
  • Book in to a truly delectable tour exploring Adelaide's Central Produce Markets and the city’s most indulgent chocolatiers. For those with a sweet tooth this is an ideal way to win ‘brownie points’ pun absolutely intended.
