In stages over the next 6 months, Cradle Mountain Lodge will be undergoing a renovation of the cabins and central buildings spread over the 23 acre property. Given the spread of our cabins through the property, interruptions to the tranquil escape of visiting Cradle Mountain will be minimal. From July 29 our reception will be located in the boutique at the front of the property. During the renovation, our full a la carte, Highland menu will be available for our in-house guests in the lounge in front of our roaring fire with the full breakfast buffet served in The Tavern and lounge area. In the later stages of the renovation towards the end of the year, The Tavern Bar & Bistro will be affected and alternative options will be made available to ensure the best comfort during your wilderness escape. If you have any queries please contact the hotel directly.
Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is an Alpine Resort and as such access may be impacted by weather conditions, including snow. Please click here for updated weather information. We are located in 1,600km2 of wilderness. Because of our location, mobile phone service may be patchy (Telstra is the only service provider with network coverage in the area), and WiFi is practically non-existent due to transmission issues to the cabins. Your room does not have a TV. If you are unable to make the most of this opportunity to undergo a “digital detox”, we do offer complimentary WiFi in our Main Lodge building (open from 7am daily), and TV in our Tavern (open from 11:30am daily).
