The Argus Dining Room, Bar & Lounge sources from the Argus Kitchen Garden, with fruit, vegetables and rare breed beef and lamb from the Hotel’s own farm. Even breakfast is an experience in the sun-drenched Conservatory.

The Conservatory

Our relaxing breakfast room is located on the rear terrace of the original hotel building and opens out to all day sun. Elegantly furnished with soft cushioned banquettes, comfortable cane chairs and hanging pendulum lamps, The Conservatory offers a cooked to order menu every morning.

The Argus Bar & Lounge

The Argus Bar and Lounge is a stylish space that is perfect for pre-dinner drinks or to unwind with a coffee and a good book in front of the open fire. Sink into deep club chairs and sofas and enjoy a selection from the extensive wine list or indulge in a sublime cocktail mixed by experienced bar staff

The Argus Dining Room

Awarded a Chef’s Hat in The Age Good Food Guide 2015 and included in Gourmet Traveller’s Top 100 Restaurants of 2015, The Argus Dining Room serves Modern Australian cuisine with an emphasis on regional produce. Enjoy a fresh, seasonal menu that features produce grown in the onsite Argus Kitchen Garden as well as rare breed beef and lamb from the owners’ nearby farm 'Vale Hill' in Smeaton. Our extensive wine selection, handpicked by sommelier Jeremy Shiell features boutique wines from small-scale, family owned farms and growers expressing wine of terroir with minimal interventions or additions.

Music By The Springs

Peppers Mineral Springs Hotel is delighted to be hosting the inaugural Music By The Springs event – an exciting new boutique festival celebrating the best in chamber music, fine dining and wine. Set in the idyllic surrounds of one of the region’s finest boutique hotels, our guests will enjoy up to eight concerts and events over one magical weekend.
In addition our guests will enjoy casual lunches and gourmet dinners in The Argus Dining Room prepared by award winning chefs, along with premium wines and beverages.
The festival, curated by artistic director Stewart Kelly, brings together 13 of Australia’s finest classical musicians to deliver world class performances of favourites of the repertoire, new creations and forgotten gems. Whether you are new to the art form or a seasoned connoisseur, we trust you will find much of interest in this program.
