The Conservatory

For cafe-style dining, the charming Conservatory is rapidly becoming a feature on the regions’ epicurean roadmap. Located on the back terrace of the heritage hotel, The Conservatory opens out to all day sun, and is elegantly furnished with soft cushioned banquettes, comfortable cane chairs and hanging pendulum lamps. The Conservatory serves a gourmet breakfast buffet, casual lunches, afternoon tea and great coffee.

High Tea under the Arches

Recalling the glamour of a by-gone era, High Tea under The Arches is served on weekends in the picturesque setting of the 1930s heritage hotel. Settle into the deep cane armchairs and relax over petit fours, delectable bite-sized sandwiches and freshly baked scones with double whipped cream and homemade jams. Bookings are essential.

Tipperary Bar & Lounge

The Tipperary Bar and Lounge is a stylish space perfect for pre-dinner drinks. Sink into deep club chairs and sofas and enjoy local wine, sublime cocktails or an aperitif. The appeal of this relaxed haven is its relaxed, quiet and inviting surrounds.

The Argus Dining Room

Also located within the grounds is The Argus Dining Room. Operated by Frank Moylan and Melissa Macfarlane, (ex Farmers Arms, Daylesford and Royal George, Kyneton) in collaboration with owners Wayne Cross and Chris Malden, The Argus Dining Room serves Modern Australian cuisine with an emphasis on regional produce. Led by Executive Chef Ryan Sessions, (2 chefs hats) previously of The Merrijigg Inn at Port Fairy, guests can enjoy a fresh, seasonal menu that utilises produce grown onsite in the Argus Kitchen Garden as well as rare breed cattle and sheep from the owners nearby farm ‘Birch Estate’ in Smeaton
