The trout is caught locally, the chicken is free range, the butter churned in the valley and the beef grass fed. In the hands of a kitchen with a passion for seasonal freshness, you can only imagine the meal!

Sourced from either side of the mountain, from the North East Valleys and Gippsland, the Graze Restaurant, Bar & Paddock menu is peppered with delicious European alpine influences. Eat by the open fire. Enjoy organic fair trade coffee with cake. Pre-dinner drinks will be served at 5pm, including craft beers, schnapps, cocktails and hot gluhwein.

Graze Restaurant, Bar & Paddock operates from March - September. The Lodge is open for private group, conference and wedding bookings from November - February.

Graze Restaurant

Graze has been recommended in The Age Good Food Guide 4 years in a row and is widely regarded as one of the best restaurants on the Great Alpine Road. This unique restaurant, located at Peppers Rundells Dinner Plain, sets the benchmark for regional dining in the Alps, with its a la carte dining and degustation menu matched with regional wines.

Lounge around the open fire or at a table overlooking the snow gums. Dine on fine alpine trout, butter, beef, goat and more. The wine list will be comprehensive, with many fine cool climate wines, local beers and schnapps.

A 5-course regional degustation menu is available nightly with vegetarian option. Bookings must be made 24 hours in advance.

Bar & Paddock

After a day on the slopes or hiking the alpine tracks, sink into a comfy armchair and enjoy the atmosphere and the massive open fire in the Lounge. At 5pm, pre-dinner drinks are traditionally served, including craft beers, schnapps, cocktails and hot gluhwein. Warm yourself by the fire or meet your friends for a cold beer on the terrace, with a tasting board of local cheeses.
