An unusual geological feature that has been created over millions of years by water tumbling through the roof of a basalt cave, the Natural Bridge is also home to an amazing colony of glow-worms, whose lights can only be seen after sunset. The town of Springbrook is also a wonderful retreat with a choice of excellent dining.

A short 25 minutes drive away from the Retreat, Tamborine Mountain combines retail therapy, gastronomic delights and picturesque surrounds to deliver an idyllic hinterland destination. Take a stroll allong the Gallery Walk where you will encounter galleries filled with colourful local art and antiques, indulgent local food, boutique shops and fine restaurants. On the second Sunday of the month there is also a market at the showground where you can purchase local produce.
The Gold Coast Hinterland is home to a spectacular wine region featuring boutique wineries and vineyards producing award winning wine varieties. There are numerous vineyards to visit across Mount Tamborine and the countryside in the valleys of Canungra, Clagiraba and the Albert River.
