CAPTIVATING ARTWORK: The luxury Peppers Bluewater Resort in Tekapo is holding an exhibition during March of paintings by local artist Caley Hall, a former entertainer and DJ who now owns Kimbell Garage Gallery. Caley takes inspiration from New Zealand artist Colin McCahon and famed American painter Jackson Pollock, creating large canvas pieces with layers of thick paint. Canvases of up to six feet high have transformed the resort's conference walls, with the paintings tying in beautifully with the unique landscape on the waters of Lake Tekapo, surrounded by the Southern Alps.
