Honeymoon testers li-lo for 83rd wedding vow

Ultimate honeymoon testers Mark and Denise Duffield-Thomas will marry each other for the 83rd time, and equal the Guinness World Record for the most number of wedding vows renewed by a couple, this Friday at Peppers Beach Club, Port Douglas.

The English/Australian couple will complete vow number 83 in true Tropical North Queensland style – while floating on li-los in Peppers Beach Club’s stunning lagoon pool – before setting a new Guiness World Record in front of the media on Monday at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, Cairns.

Part of the Ultimate Job in the World competition, a copycat of Tourism Queensland’s Best Job in the World campaign organised by Irish wedding and honeymoon company Runaway Bride and Groom, winners Mark and Denise have been road testing the best locations for weddings and honeymoons around the world for the past six months.
