Peppers has expanded with the launch of Peppers Coorabell Retreat in NSW's Byron Hinterland. The tranquil rainforest retreat where guests can spot wildlife such as koalas and platypus, has been managed by Mantra Group since December 2004. Formerly known as Casuarina Lodge, it officially became Peppers Coorabell Retreat this month after the completion of a substantial refurbishment program, which Mantra Group chief executive officer Bob East said has transformed the property. Located just an hour south of Gold Coast Airport and two hours south of Brisbane’s Domestic and International Airports, Peppers Coorabell Retreat offers 18 tastefully decorated Rainforest and Hinterland View Suites.
Not to mention offering guests a taste of local produce such as ginger, cranberry and honey nectar, locally brewed beers, Chai syrup and home-made jams from fruit on-site. To mark the name change, the retreat has a special rate of $200 per night including breakfast, valid for travel until December 12.
