Peppers Salt Resort & Spa has enhanced its reputation for dining excellence with on-site restaurant Roughies winning the best restaurant category at the 2009 Gold Coast Airport Tweed Business Excellence Awards last week.
Roughies Restaurant & Bar outshone an outstanding field to win the coveted award at a gala function at the Seagulls Stardust Room on Friday night.
Peppers Salt Resort & Spa General Manager Damian Sillars said Roughies Restaurant & Bar is once again tasting success after adding this award win to its ever growing list of accomplishments.
“The award sets an indication of how well we are serving the Tweed community,” he said.
“We are always looking for new ways in which to develop our service and menu.”
One of their newest dining experiences is Roughies’ Jazz by the Pool on the first Saturday of each month where long leisurely lunches are served with a laidback side of jazz.
