Peppers Manor House refurbishment complete
Following the sophisticated makeover of the retreat's conference rooms and award winning Katers restaurant in May, a complete facelift throughout the property extending from the guest rooms to central spaces and signage is now complete.
Public area lounges have been transformed with charcoal paintwork and carpets. The walls of the Taittinger Bar and Lounge are covered in a striking cream and gold wallpaper with the lounge area featuring new furnishings.
The Music Room has retained its special charm with a contrasting colour theme of striped aqua and cream carpet which complements the soft silver striped wallpaper. The Nookery Bar has a new look comprising a dark charcoal theme highlighted with white timberwork. Lime green is used in soft furnishings and a full wall mirror gives the illusion of space in this intimate bar area.
According to Operations manager for Peppers Manor House, Robyne Toohey another highlight of the makeover was the Great Hall. This pivotal point of the hotel now features custom made black and grey carpet in a dramatic design and a colour theme of striking ruby red and chocolate with complementary soft furnishings.
The Cottage Rooms now feature new carpets, paintwork, drapes, king beds, bed heads, bedside tables and lamps providing a modern and contemporary look and bathrooms have also enjoyed a complete makeover.
The Main House has been transformed and whilst modern in style has managed to retain its old world charm with the clever use of a combination of colours. New beds, flat screen TVs, soft gold coloured drapes, re-upholstered furniture and lighting complete this up to date look.
The Laura Ashley theme in the Garden Wing King rooms has been retained and additional soft furnishings have been added. Likewise the Garden Wing Queen rooms have maintained their country look with Baltic pine furniture and heavy floral drapes with additional soft furnishings also added to these rooms.
