The first in a WINEWARS series of dining events launched by Peppers Guest House, WINEWARS I will showcase two heavyweights of the wine industry as they battle it out to become the WINEWARS favourite wine region. This novel and light-hearted series created by Chez Pok Food and Beverage Manager Melinda Waters is all about ensuring a fun night of regional rivalry.
In this first battle in its series, Gourmet Traveller Wine's Nick Stock will be your host and wine critic as Iain Riggs of Brokenwood representing the Hunter and Tim Kirk of Clonakilla representing Canberra District, take on the WINEWAR challenge. The winner will be chosen by you, our guests for the evening.
Includes: Enjoy five-courses designed by Chez Pok’s Executive Chef John Edwards, with two masked wines poured for entree, main and dessert. Choose your favourite wines and at the end of the evening, the winning WINEWARS winemaker will be revealed.
