Mahoe Farmhouse Cheese Factory
Featuring on the resort’s Far North Carrington Platter, Mahoe Cheese has won more than their fair share of awards and medals in the annual national competitions. In particular, their very old ‘Edam’ won the award for best cheese in its category for four years running and then was judged Supreme Champion in the 2000 Cheese Awards. Purchase cheese direct from their factory and shop. Open Monday – Saturday 8.30am – 5.00pm or from 10.00am on Sunday.

Pam’s Due North Foods
The favourable climate of Northland provides a wealth of fresh, quality produce that forms the basis of some exotic and innovative ‘Afronesian’ jams and relishes. Growing from small roots, in a home based commercial kitchen, Pam’s love for and knowledge of food and horticulture is evident in an extensive range of preserves that have been produced using iconic ‘Aunty Daisy’ style recipes and unique ingredients from native plants.
